In this tip, we’ll talk about the drag-and-drop method to add attachments to issues.
Drag and Drop
You asked and we responded.
When adding attachments to your issues, previously you had to browse to the Attachments link in the left menu and then browse for the appropriate file. You were also limited to adding three attachments at a time, so if you had more, you had to upload the first three and then the next three. This still works; however, we’ve simplified the process for you!
Now you can simply drag and drop files to the issue! Woo-hoo!
No Setup Required
There’s no setup or activation you need to do to start attaching issues using drag and drop. Here’s how it’s done:
- View the issue
- Click on the paperclip icon next to the issue number
- Drag and drop files in the space provided
That’s it! Easy as pie. You can pull over as many attachments at once as you want. Just remember that if they’re large files, it will still take them a minute to upload to the issue.
