Technical Support Analyst


Provide technical assistance to our customers and prospects for all areas of the Issuetrak Software product.


  • Provide end to end customer support and technical issue resolution for customers and prospects via E-Mail, phone, chat, our tracking software, and other electronic medium.
  • Assist internal/external customers and prospects with Issuetrak installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Create new user accounts for customers and prospects.
  • Troubleshoot Issuetrak related problems dealing with SQL Server, IIS configuration, Active Directory, E-mail processing (Exchange, POP3, and SMTP) and Windows Server configuration.
  • Replicate problems within a test environment in order to escalate to the development team for additional assistance.
  • Manage, communicate and escalate issues to the appropriate group or individual for resolution.
  • Assist the IT Department as needed for various projects and/or support internal team members with Issuetrak or IT related issues.
  • Maintain, update, and utilize a knowledge-base for troubleshooting known issues. This includes adding new content to the knowledge-base as needed.
  • Make recommendations for changes/improvements to the Issuetrak Software product.
  • Assist with identifying/analyzing issue trends.
  • Train other team members on specific technical topics as needed.
  • Be a role model for the Issuetrak team culture.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are a must.
  • Must be available to work Mon.-Fri. 11am-8pm after training is completed.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to adapt to the skill level of the customer.
  • At least 2 years of Help-desk and/or technical support experience.
  • Two year of college or technical school.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange Server, SQL Server, IIS, and Windows Server 2008+, IE, Firefox, Chrome and general website configuration/troubleshooting,
  • Proficiency with Microsoft technologies and web application hosting.
  • IT networking troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team as needed.

  • Experience working with Software Engineers, QA/Test Engineers, and Product Managers in an Agile environment
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Experience producing UX artifacts, including: wireframes, user personas, interaction models, specifications, and user task flows
  • Experience developing style guides
  • Experience maintaining a pattern library that can be used to govern the look and feel of an application across platforms and devices
  • Proficient in writing HTML and CSS; JavaScript is a plus
