Task 2 - Establishing organization-based AD Groups/OUs


On each AD server that will be communicating with IssueTrak, create a Group/OU for each internal entity to be represented as an “Organization” within IssueTrak. In addition, add every AD user on the server to the appropriate organization-based Group/OU. During configuration, these Groups/OUs will be mapped to their corresponding organization records.

If your existing AD structure is already organized into internal organizations, you may skip this task and go directly to Task 3 - Establishing server specifications. However, we strongly recommend first verifying this information is accurate and complete.
