Using the Projects Feature

By Julie Heiman

Say a committee made a decision. They need to create a project because there is a business need to be resolved. They have to assign the project manager, assign the tasks, and start working.

Creating a project plan is the first thing a manager should do when taking on any kind of project.  Implementing a solid plan from beginning to end can help save you from unnecessary scrutiny or having your project shut down because certain objectives were missed.  A plan should be clear and concise and should contain information about the purpose of the project, the benefits and objectives, measurable hours and funds and the members involved throughout each phase of the project.

With IssueTrak Projects, you can meet goals.  It's a high level project manager that allows you to define key elements of a Project and associate issues to that Project.

The IssueTrak Project Management feature will help keep you organized and ensure tasks are completed on time. With the ability to generate projects, you can assign issues and tasks to various people in your organization. And from the Project Summary screen, you can view all projects and drill down into the details, including estimated, actual and variance in hours and budget, percent complete and project status and more.

Let IssueTrak Projects feature manage your end of summer projects.
